SELECTMEN’S MEETING ROOM
The Falmouth Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting & a public hearing on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. to discuss the following:
REQUESTS FOR DETERMINATION OF APPLICABILITY
Nina’s Marina Realty Trust (c/o Melissa McKim), 306 Scranton Avenue, Falmouth, MA – For permission to install a 2.5-ft x 18-ft x 28-ft landscape wall.
Daniel Clark, 46 Millfield Street, Woods Hole, MA – For permission to sister or replace with a wood beam at the south end of house and to repair or replace a vertical support piling with a fiberglass piling, all work by hand.
REQUESTS FOR HEARINGS UNDER A NOTICE OF INTENT
Andrew Bear, 97 Green Pond Road, East Falmouth, MA – For permission to abandon habitable space in the lowest level of the existing dwelling and construct a second story structure above the first floor, remove the existing deck and construct a new covered deck with steps and the associated excavating, grading and landscaping.
Phyllis & Patrick McDevitt, 5 North Chop Lane, East Falmouth, MA - For permission to provide approximately 940 cu yds of beach nourishment, install access stairs within the existing riprap retaining wall and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.
CONTINUED REQUESTS FOR A HEARING UNDER A NOTICE OF INTENT
Town of Falmouth - Falmouth Housing Corporation (c/o Linda Clark, Director), Spring Bars Road (Map 39-15-047-001), Falmouth, MA – For permission to construct and maintain a 40-unit 40B housing project including the construction , installation and maintenance of all buildings, municipal sewer connection, roadways, driveways, drainage, utilities and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.
David & Patricia Smith, 390 Edgewater Drive East, East Falmouth, MA – For permission to raze the existing dwelling and construct a single-family 4-bedroom house with attached garage, covered porches, install a Title 5 sewage disposal system, utilities, AC units, outdoor shower, dry wells, driveway, remove the existing shed and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.
Beccles Road Nominee Trust (c/o Dana Doe), 19 Beccles Road & Sippewissett Road (Map 36-06-000-000C), Falmouth, MA – For permission to install approximately 100 linear feet of steel sheeting along the base of the existing mortared stone revetment which includes construction access, vegetation restoration and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.
REQUESTS TO EXTEND THE EXISTING ORDER OF CONDITIONS
Town of Falmouth (c/o Gregg Fraser), Various Waterways & Beaches, Falmouth, MA (DEP # 25-3786) – Request a three year extension (02/29/2020).
Gerald Valente, 51 Gunning Point Avenue, Falmouth, MA – For clearing and altering wetland resource area and in buffer to resource areas as defined in FWR 10.00 and 310 CMR 10.00.
