On September 1st, Cape Cod native Connor O’Reilly set off to ride his bike across the country to raise awareness about the role that mindfulness and exercise can play in recovery from substance abuse. Along the way, he’s been raising funds for Wellstrong, a fitness and wellness community in Falmouth that provides a safe supportive community for those in recovery. Here’s the latest on Connor’s progress.
The 300 Committee was formed in 1985 with the goal of saving 300 acres of open space to celebrate the town’s 300th anniversary the following year. Thirty-five years and over twenty-five hundred acres later, the Committee is considered one of the flagship land trusts on Cape Cod.
