Who Is FCTV...
FCTV is an independent, non-profit organization that provides the Town of Falmouth with non-commercial access to the medium of cable television. We are self-governed through our active members who each year elect a seven-member Board Of Directors from within the community. The daily operations of FCTV are handled by our staff, who take care of administrative and financial tasks, maintain FCTV's equipment and facilities and train our members. FCTV is also financially aided by our Supporting Friends, Viewers and Benefactors, whose contributions are vital to the success of our mission.
Aside from our weekly coverage of Falmouth's Selectmen's Meetings and our twice-yearly coverage of Falmouth Town Meeting, FCTV's programming comes from the community itself, either produced from within our active membership or specifically requested by Falmouth residents, who take full responsibility for the content of the programs.
FCTV's members come from all facets of Falmouth Society. These individuals and organizations come to FCTV to learn about television production, express themselves, promote their own non-profit organizations and support the idea that everyone's First Admendment rights should extend to the medium of television.
