The Falmouth Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting & a public hearing on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. to discuss the following:

REQUESTS FOR DETERMINATION OF APPLICABILITY

John & Judith Spang, Lot 53, 19 Loren Road, North Falmouth, MA – For permission to construct and maintain a 4-bedroom single-family house with attached garage, three-season room, to install a new Title 5 sewage disposal system, deck, porch, paved driveway, utilities and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.

Samuel Coleman, 9 Bournes Pond Road, East Falmouth, MA – For permission to remove the existing cesspool and septic tank and to install a new Title 5 sewage disposal system.

CONTINUED REQUESTS FOR DETERMINATION OF APPLICABILITY

Town of Falmouth – DPW (c/o Gerry Potamis), 154 Blacksmith Shop Road, Falmouth, MA – For permission to re-grade the existing bituminous concrete access road north of existing beds No. 12 and 13 and overlay with pavement, to transition to gravel road, to create a new 12-ft wide access road including grubbing, clearing, grading and paving and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.
Steven Garfinkle, 24 Racing Beach Avenue, Falmouth, MA – For permission to re-grade and repave a portion of the driveway, to install retaining walls, a new gas service and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.

REQUESTS FOR HEARINGS UNDER A NOTICE OF INTENT

James Ferrera, 180 Waterside Drive, North Falmouth, MA – For permission to remove ornamental trees and plantings installed by the neighbor, install native trees and shrubs to be monitored and maintained and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.

Richard & Claudia Mackin, 12 Nichols Road, Waquoit, Ma – For permission to renovate the existing house by re-configuring the first floor layout, adding a second story addition to the house, a new addition to the front of the house, to install dry wells, native mitigation plantings and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.

REQUESTS FOR HEARINGS UNDER A NOTICE OF INTENT

Philippe & Amy Bouvier, 410 Seacoast Shores Blvd, East Falmouth, MA – For permission to demolish the existing house and construct a 5-bedroom single-family house with porches, deck with stairs, remove trees, install a new Title 5 sewage disposal system, utilities, native mitigation plantings and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.

Town of Falmouth – Beach Committee (c/o Don Hoffer), 295 Quaker Road, North Falmouth, MA – For permission to remove approximately 320 linear feet of two rows of wood retaining wall, install a crushed stone footing 6-inches deep, approximately 240 cement blocks (4-ft long x 28-inches deep x 2-ft high) with the top course consisting of a cap block for a wall height of 4 to 5-ft, the restoration of disturbed coastal dune with dune grass and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.

Black Beach Harbor Head Association, Little Neck Bars Road, Black Beach Hills Road, Gilbert Lane and Drift Road, West Falmouth, MA – For permission to amend the existing Order of Conditions (DEP 25-3908) to remove trees and shrubs, to trim, re-grade and install hardener in the cul-de-sac located at the east end of Little Neck Bars Road.

Mark & Cynthia Cilfone, 58 Davis Road, East Falmouth, MA- For permission to remove the existing shed and construct a 1-bedroom addition with stairs, attached garage, deck expansion, to extend the driveway, install a trench drain, dry wells, native tree and shrub mitigation plantings, remove a tree and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.

John Parker Lakeside Village Condominium, 35 Parker Road, East Falmouth, MA – For permission to improve the existing access to Flax Pond with a 4-ft wide crushed stone or paver landings, replace timber stairs with an Allen Block Stair System, loam and seed adjacent to walkway, to obtain after-the-fact permission to reconstruct a concrete block retaining wall and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.

Philip Chischpotich, 189 Surf Drive, Falmouth, MA – For permission to raze the existing dwelling and construct a new house on open piers with a deck, stairs, to reconnect utilities, install gravel driveway and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.
