The Falmouth Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting & a public hearing on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. to discuss the following:

REQUESTS FOR DETERMINATION OF APPLICABILITY

Royal Megansett Nursing Home, 209 County Road, North Falmouth, MA – For permission to install two (2) Soil Air units to enhance the existing sewerage disposal system.

CONTINUED REQUESTS FOR DETERMINATION OF APPLICABILITY

The 300 Committee (c/o Jack Sidar), Rydal Mount Drive (Map 39-23-001-000), Falmouth, MA – For permission to re-establish and re-route an existing trail, remove debris and invasive plants and to install an informational kiosk.

Samuel Coleman, 9 Bournes Pond Road, East Falmouth, MA – For permission to remove the existing cesspool and septic tank and to install a new Title 5 sewage disposal system.


REQUESTS FOR HEARINGS UNDER A NOTICE OF INTENT

Karen Chorches, 20 Nichols Road, Waquoit, MA – For permission to install approximately 100 linear feet of biologs, restore all areas disturbed by construction and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.

Nina’s Marina Realty Trust, 306 Scranton Avenue, Falmouth, MA - For permission to remove approx. 122 linear feet of existing licensed bulkhead and boardwalk, remove licensed solid fill, replace and maintain a timber/vinyl sheet bulkhead for 293 linear feet, repair and reconstruct approx. 20 linear feet of stone riprap, conduct improvement dredging of approx. 298 cu yds and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.

CONTINUED REQUESTS FOR HEARINGS UNDER A NOTICE OF INTENT

Town of Falmouth – Engineering Department (c/o Peter McConarty), Oyster Pond Road (Map 47-01-040-000), Falmouth, MA – For permission to repair approximately 185 linear feet of existing rubble mound revetment that includes dismantling rocks, installation of a geotextile fabric base with 1.5-ft thick bedding stone base, with a single layer of armor stone at a 2:1 slope, 590 cu yds of beach nourishment along the face of the revetment and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.

David Gilpatric, 84 Ransom Road, Falmouth, MA – For permission to add a second floor to the existing house, expand the garage, widen the driveway, construct a porch, install retaining walls, steps, gas line, remove an oak tree and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.

James Ferrera, 180 Waterside Drive, North Falmouth, MA – For permission to remove ornamental trees and plantings installed by the neighbor, install native trees and shrubs to be monitored and maintained and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.

Richard & Claudia Mackin, 12 Nichols Road, Waquoit, Ma – For permission to renovate the existing house by re-configuring the first floor layout, adding a second story addition to the house, a new addition to the front of the house, to install dry wells, native mitigation plantings and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.

CONTINUED REQUESTS TO AMEND THE EXISTING ORDER OF CONDITIONS

Black Beach Harbor Head Association, Little Neck Bars Road, Black Beach Hills Road, Gilbert Lane and Drift Road, West Falmouth, MA – For permission to amend the existing Order of Conditions (DEP 25-3908) to remove trees and shrubs, to trim, re-grade and install hardener in the cul-de-sac located at the east end of Little Neck Bars Road.
