The Falmouth Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting & a public hearing on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. to discuss the following:

REQUESTS FOR DETERMINATION OF APPLICABILITY

Steven & Nicole Mele, 375 Shorewood Drive, East Falmouth, MA – For permission to construct a covered porch and a mudroom/bathroom addition and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.

Edward & Barbara Shapiro, 31 & 39 Naushon Circle, North Falmouth, MA – For permission to install a spa, bluestone walkways and a fence.

Island Commuter Corporation (c/o Chip Shultz), 75 Falmouth Heights Road, Falmouth, MA – For permission to replace the existing licensed 6-pile dolphin with greenheart timber or non-CCA equivalent.

Robert DeVasto, 218 Edgewater Dr East, East Falmouth, MA – For permission to install a shed and native shrub mitigation plantings to be watered and maintained in good health.

Jean Wright, 19 Miami Avenue, East Falmouth, MA - For permission to install a urine-diverting storage tank within existing lawn area.

Samuel Coleman, 9 Bournes Pond Road, East Falmouth, MA – For permission to remove the existing cesspool and septic tank and to install a new Title 5 sewage disposal system.

REQUESTS FOR HEARINGS UNDER A NOTICE OF INTENT

Louis & Jeanne Seligowski, 51 Tobey Lane, East Falmouth, MA – For permission to raze and construct a 4-bedroom single-family house with an attached garage, porch, deck, to install a driveway, dry wells, utilities, native trees and shrubs, to remove trees and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.

Lawrence Bohn, 3 & 7 Gunning Point Avenue and Lot 0, Langley Road (Map 37-10-017-002), Falmouth, MA - For permission to control and manage invasive plant species, to restore with native plant species and the associated clearing and landscaping.

Martin Levin, 259 Shorewood Drive, East Falmouth, MA – For permission to renovate the deck, add stairs, remove an existing shower and relocate, install a brick walkway, peastone driveway with cobble apron, fieldstone retaining wall, an elevated walkway to the salt marsh, remove seven (7) pine trees, implement lowland and upland plant restorations and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.

Martin Levin, 257 Shorewood Drive, East Falmouth, MA – For permission to raze the existing dwelling and construct a single-family 4-bedroom house with attached garage, porches, deck with stairs, install a walkway, Title 5 sewage disposals system, utilities, dry wells, driveway, walkway to the salt marsh, implement woodland and coastal bank plant restorations, remove timber wall, landscape timbers and concrete and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.

REQUESTS TO AMEND THE EXISTING ORDER OF CONDITIONS

Church Street Trust (c/o Patrick Burke), 158 Church Street, Woods Hole, MA – Request to amend the existing Order of Conditions (DEP 25-4051) to construct and maintain a garage addition including a reconfiguration of the existing driveway, outdoor showers, utilities, dry wells, mitigation plantings, removal of invasive species, restoration plantings, maintain the existing subsurface irrigation system and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.

Wigwam Sippewissett Trust (c/o Silvestro Calabrese, Trustee), 8 Wigwam Road, West Falmouth, MA – For permission to amend the existing Order of Conditions (DEP 25-3952) to install an additional row of stones across the top of the riprap to elevate the riprap four (4) feet higher and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.
