The Falmouth Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting & a public hearing on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. to discuss the following:

 

REQUESTS FOR CONTINUANCE UNDER HEARINGS FOR NOTICE OF INTENT

 

Michael George, 45 Dusty Miller Road, Falmouth, MA – For 

permission to construct and maintain two house additions, a

 porch addition, to remove and abandon a portion of the existing 

driveway to be converted to lawn, construction of a new driveway, 

retaining walls and steps, installation of a new Title 5 sewage

 disposal system, drainage, utilities, mitigation and restoration 

plantings and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and 

landscaping.

 

Black Beach Harbor Head Association, Little Neck Bars Road, 

Black Beach Hills Road, Gilbert Lane and Drift Road, West Falmouth, MA -

 For permission to implement proposed road maintenance and storm

 water management improvements that includes vegetated swales

 and addition of dense grade crushed stone, along approximately 

1 mile of private gravel roads and the associated clearing, 

excavating, grading and landscaping

REQUESTS FOR DETERMINATION OF APPLICABILITY

 

Marine Biological Lab, 137 Water Street, Woods Hole, MA – 

For permission to remove the existing timber pier and pilings 

authorized under license #1624 without replacement.

 

Neil Watanabe, 67 Menauhant Road, East Falmouth, MA – 

For permission to gather displaced stones on the beach from

 the existing permitted riprap seawall and re-insert and to 

add new chink stones to repair remaining voids.

 

REQUESTS FOR HEARING UNDER A NOTICE OF INTENT

 

Michael & Baritsa Shea, 121 Wickertree Road, North Falmouth, MA – 

For permission to demolish the existing house and shed and to 

construct a new 3-bedroom single-family house with an attached 

deck, front entryway, rebuild the concrete steps, concrete pad

 and driveway, remove a cedar tree, install dry wells, utilities,

 native plantings and the associated clearing, excavating, 

grading and landscaping.

 

Stephen & Deborah Reichheld, 190 Grand Avenue, Falmouth, MA –

 For permission to demolish the existing 9-bedroom house and 

to construct a new single-family house with an attached

 garage, porches, stairs, patio, patio wall, sitting area,

install a new Title 5 sewage disposal system, paver & paved

 driveway, flag pole, 105 linear feet of single rail cedar 

fence at edge of dune, AC units, outdoor shower, utilities,

 

 native tree & shrub plantings and the associated clearing,

 excavating, grading and landscaping.

 

Chapoquoit Associates (c/o Jonathan Harley, president), 

Associates Road (Map 24-06-008-000), West Falmouth, MA –

 For to permission for minor repairs of approximately 570 

linear feet of stone riprap, the re-construction of 

approximately 110 linear feet of stone riprap, roadway 

repair and timber stair reconstruction, including all 

construction access and the excavating, grading and

 associated restoration activities.

 relocate A&E panel, septic tank and chamber, remove bluestone

 walks and patios and the associated clearing, excavating, 

grading and landscaping.
