The Falmouth Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting & 

a public hearing on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. to discuss 

the following:

 

REQUESTS FOR A CONTINUANCE UNDER A NOTICE OF INTENT

 

James Luccio, Lot 532, Acapesket Road, East Falmouth, MA – For 

permission to construct a new 4-bedroom single-family house with 

an attached garage, deck, deck with stairs, to install a retaining

 wall, Title 5 sewage disposal system, dry wells, driveway, trench

 drain, utilities and the associated clearing, excavating, grading 

and landscaping.

REQUESTS FOR HEARING UNDER A NOTICE OF INTENT

 

Raymond & Ann Carlin, 374 Mill Road, Falmouth, MA – For permission

 to construct and maintain a one-car garage and an addition, relocate

 the gravel driveway, utilities, remove an existing shed, reroute

 

or replace the sewer service and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.

Comcast, North Central Division & NSTAR Electric Company, Surf Drive 

(Map 47-02-017-002A), Falmouth, MA – For permission to install a 4.5

 mile long submarine hybrid cable across Vineyard Sound from Falmouth

to Tisbury that includes installation of an 8-ft x 16-ft approach pit

 for drilling, a 6-ft wide x 14-ft long x 8-ft deep manhole, a 3-ft

 x 3-ft Comcast manhole, an 80-ft long trench for a fiber optic

 cable within 2 to 4-inch conduits to run north then east underneath 

Mill Road to connect to existing NSTAR infrastructure via new and 

existing ductbanks and the associated clearing, excavating, grading

 and landscaping.

 

Gail Bambrick, 12 Circle Road, Waquoit, MA – For permission to 

demolish and remove the existing wooden retaining wall, stones, 

cinder blocks, deck and patio and reconstruct a deck with footings, 

patio, vinyl sheeting retaining wall, install 12-inch diameter

 fiber rolls, native woody plants and the associated clearing, 

excavating, grading and landscaping.

 

CONTINUED REQUESTS FOR HEARING UNDER A NOTICE OF INTENT

 

FX Casino, LLC., 286 Grand Avenue, Falmouth, MA – For permission

 to conduct beach management and maintenance on the coastal beach 

that includes raking, screening, cleaning, grading, beach 

nourishment and the associated grading and landscaping.

 

 

Anastasios Parafestas, 65 Falmouth Heights Road, Falmouth, MA –

 For permission to dredge a 9000 sq ft area to a depth of 10-ft by 

removing approximately 300 cubic yards of material from Falmouth

 Inner Harbor for the benefit of 65 Falmouth Heights Road. The 

project includes the harvest and relocation of shellfish from the 

dredge area, dewatering the material on a barge, deposition into 

trucks and transportation to another waterfront location for

 beach nourishment and to create coastal dune.

 

Silvestro Calabrese, 8 Wigwam Road, West Falmouth, MA - For permission 

to create a coastal dune over an existing stone revetment by 

establishing a construction access route, placement of approximately 

200 cubic yards of sand and plantings of American beach grass, the 

placement of an additional 100 cubic yards of sand as beach 

nourishment, replacement of any disturbed naturally vegetated 

resource area buffer/resource area and the associated clearing,

 grading and landscaping.

 

Stephen & Deborah Reichheld, 190 Grand Avenue, Falmouth, MA – 

For permission to demolish the existing 9-bedroom house and to 

construct a new single-family house with an attached garage,

 porches, stairs, patio, patio wall, sitting area, install a new 

Title 5 sewage disposal system, paver & paved driveway, flag pole,

 105 linear feet of single rail cedar fence at edge of dune, 

AC units, outdoor shower, utilities, native tree & shrub plantings

 and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping
