The Falmouth Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting & a public hearing on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. to discuss the following:
REQUESTS FOR DETERMINATION OF APPLICABILITY
Eel Pond Place, LLC (c/o Arthur Harvey), 89 Water Street, Woods Hole, MA – For permission to replace the existing second floor deck, stairs and walkway, waterways license to be maintained.
Mavise Crocker, 37 Fells Road, Falmouth, MA – For permission to vista prune.
REQUESTS FOR HEARINGS UNDER A NOTICE OF INTENT
William Fleming, 140 Oyster Pond Road, Falmouth, MA – For permission to construct an attached garage, remove patio, install a deck above the driveway, native tree and shrub plantings
Commonwealth of Massachusetts (c/o Paula Miller), approximately 600-ft offshore (west/southwest of Fiddlers Cove and northeast of Nye’s Neck) in the waters of Megansett Harbor, North Falmouth, MA – For permission to grow approximately 3-acres of aquaculture to cultivate oysters in Megansett Harbor.
Tamar Kahn, 239 Central Street, East Falmouth, MA – For permission to raze the existing dwelling and construct a single-family house with a detached garage, decks, AC units, generator, Title 5 sewage disposals system, utilities, dry wells, native shrub plantings, remove existing paved and asphalt drives and replace with a stone driveway and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.
Ari Goldschneider, 249 Shorewood Drive, East Falmouth, MA – For permission to repair the driveway, remove the existing ramp to the water and pour a new concrete ramp, remove wooden wall & fence along ramp and replace with new wall & fence, re-use concrete footing of seawall, remove wooden wall then pour concrete wall and install new fence behind, remove concrete pavers and install new concrete apron around in-ground swimming pool, conduct tree pruning and mitigation plantings and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.
Karen Battles, 256 Alder Lane & Alder Lane (Map 13-02-002A-195), North Falmouth, MA – For permission to repair and rebuild the existing retaining wall that includes removal of a portion of the wall located on Association property, the removal of concrete slab, an 8-inch oak, remove fill behind the existing wall and replace with clean fill, re-grade and replant with native plant species and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.
CONTINUED REQUESTS FOR A HEARING UNDER A NOTICE OF INTENT
Susan Ladd, 28 Rivers Edge Road, Waquoit, MA – For permission to construct a single-family 3-bedroom house with an attached garage, deck, to install a Title 5 sewage disposals system, utilities, driveway and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.
Phyllis & Patrick McDevitt, 5 North Chop Lane, East Falmouth, MA - For permission to provide approximately 940 cu yds of beach nourishment, install access stairs within the existing riprap retaining wall and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.
U.S. Coast Guard (c/o Patrick Dugan), 30 Little Harbor Road, Woods Hole, MA – For permission to demolish two buildings, adjacent asphalt and concrete driveway/parking areas and to construct a new Aids to Navigation Team building, a new Station Building, new asphalt and concrete pavements, install utilities and the associated clearing, excavating, grading and landscaping.
