This summer’s forty-ninth running of the Falmouth Road Race is returning as one of the premier events of the summer season. After the Coronavirus outbreak altered plans in twenty-twenty and transitioned it to a virtual event, runners will see a return to a limited in-person race this August. FCTV Exclusive: Wounded Warrior Project Soldier Ride

The Wounded Warrior Project Soldier Ride returned to Cape Cod for the tenth year on May 21st. The 10-mile stretch of bike path on the Shining Sea Bikeway allowed a lot of room for the community to cheer the Warriors on as they rode from North Falmouth to Woods Hole and back. FCTV was honored to have our members staffing the crossing at Depot Avenue in Falmouth.

Five years ago, the Friends of Nobska Light entered a contract with the Town of Falmouth and the United States Coast Guard to save Nobska and implement a master plan ensuring community access to this iconic structure. Since then, the lighthouse tower has been completely restored and the work to renovate the Keeper’s House is well underway, although delayed somewhat because of the pandemic. FCTV stopped by to get an update on the project.

Binx is an adorable orange tabby domestic short hair male. This fellow is 9 1/2 years young and sports a bright shiny orange tabby coat accented with white on his face, bib, tummy and paws. He is an absolute sweetheart, who is friendly, gentle and loves all the attention we give him. And please, don't tell him his age because he definitely thinks he's a younger boy. Binx's previous family's living circumstances changed and he sadly came in to PFC when they could not keep him.
