FCTV announces a new musical event series: The Falmouth Music Workshop from Studio 310! Hosted by Falmouth's Pat Ryan, this monthly series offers area music lovers an opportunity to enjoy great live music and meet the performers in a unique setting at Falmouth Community Media Center's Studio A.
The first live performance will be on December 5th at 7:00pm with the acclaimed Jim Robitaille Trio.
Every year around Halloween, the veil between worlds is at its thinnest. Historical sites are magnets for spirits, and the 1790 Dr. Francis Wicks House at Falmouth’s Museums on the Green seems to be the local epicenter of ghostly activity. We stopped by to get a tour with the museum’s night watchman.
The Pink Patch Project is a collaborative public awareness campaign between the Falmouth Police Department and over one hundred and fifty public safety agencies across the U.S. to promote breast cancer awareness. The program centers on pink versions of the Department’s uniform patch, which are worn by the officers as a way to raise awareness about this devastating disease.
