On April 18th, The Global Pandemics Bereavement Stonewalk Project made a stop at Falmouth Hospital, where healthcare staff pulled a one-ton memorial stone representing the impact of COVID-19. The project involves pulling the stone through communities to hospitals, where healthcare staff meet the stone and speak to the grief and impact of the pandemic. The next walk is scheduled for New York City this summer where Marathon runners are welcome to pull the stone.
