The Arc of Plymouth and Upper Cape Cod’s mission is to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve a higher quality of life and a sense of belonging within their community. With the opening of their new East Falmouth location, their service area has expanded into our own backyard.

As Culinary Director of Highfield Hall & Gardens, Gail Blakely has been teaching cooking and writing about food for almost 30 years. She is best known as the longtime food writer for The Enterprise newspapers, where her column, Gourmets and Good Eaters, is published weekly. Gail is an artisan bread baker who is passionate about sharing her knowledge regarding all things culinary with others.
Chef Bob Jarvis serves up some tasty treats in the FCTV kitchen as Host, Gail Blakely leads a thoughtful discussion in how Chef Jarvis got his start in food. The duo makes Casino Butter, Clams Casino, Haddock Chowder, and Arrabiata sauce in front of a live studio audience. Chef Jarvis owns and operates the Quarterdeck Restaraunt in downtown Falmouth, The Pilot House & Lounge in Sandwich, and Bucatino Restaurant and Wine Bar off of Rte. 151 in North Falmouth.
Back scratches and belly rubs make our dog, Nala, extremely happy. She is a beautiful 3 1/2 year old mixed breed who weighes about 45 lbs. Although meeting new people can be scary for Nala, she soon decides they are her best friends. Running and chasing balls are some of her favorite activities and sometimes she even returns the ball to you! Taking long walks is no problem for Nala since she is energetic and walks easily on leash.
