Falmouth Community Television (FCTV) is seeking four interns for the summer of 2022. FCTV internships are hands on and require a basic working knowledge of camera, audio and lighting equipment. Interns will assist in the production of FCTV Exclusives, short news stories to be cablecast on FCTV’s Public Channel 13; “Falmouth in Focus,” FCTV’s news magazine program; live coverage of Falmouth Road Race; and other productions produced by FCTV staff. Interns may also assist with youth programs, production seminars, supporting member productions, and other tasks as assigned by FCTV staff.
This internship is an excellent opportunity for those interested in a career in television. FCTV interns improve their video production skills, build valuable relationships with people in the industry, and develop a resume reel of video projects. The ideal candidate has video production experience and a strong work ethic. The candidate should be well organized and willing to learn. Video editing experience is a plus.
Interns are required to work a minimum of 10 hours a week and must be able to start by June 20th or earlier if possible. FCTV Interns must be vaccinated for COVID-19 according to CDC guidelines.
