Falmouth Fireworks Traffic Plan from FPD

Falmouth Police Department Press Release -

The Falmouth Police Department wants to make people aware of some road closings that are scheduled for the evening of the Fireworks on July 6th

The closing are in relation to the annual fireworks display. All roads leading into the Falmouth Heights Beach area will be closed at 6:30 PM sharp.  No one will be able to access this area by motor vehicle after that time.

Bicyclists and pedestrians will be able to access the area throughout the night.

Additionally, just prior to the end of the fireworks display, the police department will be implementing a traffic plan which will include closing Teaticket Hwy., between Sandwich Rd. and Maravista Ave. Extension to vehicular traffic.

Officers will be at most major intersections directing vehicles in an attempt to expedite the flow of traffic leaving the Falmouth Heights and Main St. areas.

We would also like to remind people that this is an alcohol free event.  No alcohol will be permitted on any of the public beaches and no open containers of alcohol will be permitted in any public areas.  Coolers and bags will be subject to search.
