Municipal Programming Now On FCTV - Channel 15
Falmouth Community Television (FCTV) is pleased to announce that as of December 15, 2011, municipal programming previously seen on FCTV- Channel 13 has moved to FCTV - Channel 15, the Government Channel in Falmouth. This programming will include live and replayed meetings from the Board of Selectmen, Planning Board, Conservation Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, Town Meeting, and other government meetings as available.
In addition to live and replayed meetings, FCTV Channel 15 will also feature Behind The Badge: Falmouth Police hosted by Police Chief Anthony J. Riello and People Helping People Build A Better World, hosted by Building Commissioner Eladio Gore. Falmouth Community Television also looks forward to offering other municipal programming on Channel 15 in the near future including the return of the Falmouth Fire Rescue Department program, a new show featuring the Falmouth Town Manager and programs offering information about disaster preparedness and other public safety and health issues. The Channel 15 Bulletin Board will also be expanded to include notices and announcements from the various departments within the Town of Falmouth.
Channel 13 will continue to operate as the Public Channel, providing programming produced or sponsored by its members. Channel 14 continues as the Education Channel focusing on programming regarding the Falmouth Public Schools. Those who reside, work in Falmouth or attend schools in Falmouth are eligible to become a member of FCTV for a nominal $30 annual fee ($75 for Organizations or Families).
