In Memoriam: Margaret "Peg" Freeman
FCTV regrets the passing of our wonderful member and volunteer
Margaret "Peg" Freeman.
Margaret (Peg) H. Freeman, of Hatchville, East Falmouth, passed away on
Tuesday, October 25, 2011, after she courageously fought the effects of
lung cancer for the last 2 years. She was the beloved wife of Michael S.
Freeman to whom she was married to for 53 years.
Margaret was an Alumni from Knox School, graduating class of 1951. She was
the Junior commodore of the Falmouth Yacht Club and designed their Yacht
Club Flag in 1947.
Margaret accomplished many great things, including a successful modeling
career, private business owner of a Bridal and special occasion dress shop
in New York, served as a patient advocate at Falmouth Hospital Emergency
room, served on the Falmouth Women�s Auxiliary and she also headed
up the fundraiser for the Falmouth Hospital which included fashion shows
and luncheons.
She was beloved by all and will be missed by all that knew her.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Melissa Gannon of
Hyannis and Cynthia Freeman-Villari of New York, grandchildren, Brittany,
Timothy and Christopher Gannon of Hyannis, and Nicolle, James and Joseph
Villari of New York.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Friday, October 28th at the
Chapman Cole and Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main St., Falmouth. A funeral
home service will begin at 7:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will be
private.

Falmouth, MA 02540.
