“Building and Maintaining Your Website With Drupal” will take place on four consecutive Thursday evenings from 6-8pm, beginning on August 4th. This workshop will focus on how to build, organize, and maintain a website using the popular free and open source content management system, Drupal.

Drupal is used by some of the most high profile organizations, government institutions, corporations, groups and individuals in the world, from The White House, Price Waterhouse Cooper, Sun Microsystems, Amnesty International, Oxfam, and SourceForge to The Kentucky Derby, Bob Dylan, Comic Relief, Metallica, and Brittney Spears. It is also used by FCTV itself for its website, www.fctv.org. The topics covered will include hosting and installation issues, using and finding themes, managing users and creating roles to delegate tasks, organizing your content and menus, and incorporating some helpful Drupal modules that allow you to add calendars, image galleries and interactive forms. The workshop will incorporate demonstrations and examples of the many features of the system with each evening focusing on a different aspect or aspects of Drupal. This workshop is perfect for those interested in rejuvenating or creating a new web presence with less assistance from expensive designers and programmers. The fee for this workshop is $75.00 for FCTV members, $125.00 for non-members.

Those interested in attending can register at the FCTV office, 310 Dillingham Ave, Falmouth - Sunday through Thursday 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm and Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
