Become An MVP: Municipal Volunteer Producer

Frank C. Cocuzzo directs the Falmouth Planning Board.

Falmouth Community Television is currently looking for volunteers to help maintain our solid and steady commitment to providing live coverage of the Town of Falmouth's many government meetings from Town Hall.

With so many issues facing our town, it is vital that Falmouth residents have as much information about the weighty decisions our many town boards face on a weekly basis. Solid waste and wastewater plans, affordable housing, wind turbine debates, the fiscal and funding crises, environmental and quality of life issues, and many more are all discussed, debated, and often decided during weekly board meetings such as the Conservation Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, Planning Board and others.

In order to provide access to these procedings and to keep town government as transparent as possible, FCTV relies on people like you to step up and help. FCTV will train you how to use the Town Hall Control Room which includes access to controls for the four robotic cameras, a switching device, computer graphics and audio.

It's a great way to stay involved and informed and can be a lot of fun, too. And it's not as difficult as you might think!

FCTV and the town around us are grateful to the efforts of MVP's like Frank Cocuzzo (pictured), Bob Texieira, Ahmed Mustafa, Peg Freeman, Richard Batchelor, Pucky Roslansky, and others, who are already making this effort part of their monthly schedules.

If you can offer one to four evenings a month to helping your town stay informed and 'in the loop', please contact FCTV at 508-457-0800 or email tony@fctv.org.
