Hurricane Warning - Readiness Information (Updated)

The Town of Falmouth is under a hurricane warning for the next 36 hours.

1. All Town offices will be open until 4:30pm

2. The Town Emergency Operations Center is open.

3. The Eel pond bridge in Woods Hole will be closed today at 2:00pm until 9:00am Saturday morning.

4. The Emergency shelter will be open at 3:00pm today. The town shelter is Mullen Hall School located at 130 Katherine Lee Bates Rd. If you plan on going to the shelter it is advised you do so prior to the height of the storm. Please bring your personal hygiene items, medications and bedding.

5. The emergency shelter is pet friendly. If you bring your pet, please bring food, leash, and medications if you have a crate please bring it with you.

The Massachusetts Military Reservation is available as a mass emergency shelter for the Upper Cape region, and is able to accommodate people with special needs and people with pets.
