Falmouth Community Television (FCTV-13)
Receptionist/Facility Assistant - Part Time up to 25 hrs./wk
General Statement of Duties:
Support FCTV staff and members with administrative, clerical, marketing,
channel scheduling and promotion work.
Duties include serving as receptionist, assisting with Channel 13 programming,
customer support, answering phones, and diversified duties as assigned
including assisting with marketing, fundraising, channel promotion, mailings,
event planning, and community group use of the Channel 13 community bulletin
board. The position is part-time (up to 25 hours per week). Hours are
Sundays 2pm – 9pm and Monday – Thursday, (5pm-9pm) or 5:30 pm
– 9:30pm. Additional hours during staff vacations and FCTV events.
Interest in video production is desired.
Job Requirements:

Understanding of basic office systems and equipment

PC literate and quick to learn new software programs.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher,
Access and PowerPoint.

Administrative

Assist with bulk mailing

Assist with updating forms.

Manage administrative, clerical and promotional tasks for twelve
gallery exhibits per year.
Channel Administration

Instruct and oversee member access to Carousel electronic
bulletin board

Assist with maintaining the FCTV Electronic Bulletin Board

TV Guide data entry
-
Assist with compilation and distribution of weekly program guide

Press release FCTV events and work with members to promote and
market programs.

Channel promotion
-
Assist with cablecasting and channel scheduling.

Organize Tapes, DVDs and CDs
-
Assist with enforcement of completion & submission of
appropriate forms for cablecasting programs and acknowledgement
of receiving rules.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma is required. A degree from an approved
institution with course work in business administration,
marketing, communications, or a combination of education and
experience equivalent to this schooling is preferred

Entry-level position. Must have work history and proven skills.

Ability to work with diverse groups of people and varied age
ranges.

Ability to work under deadline, detail oriented, highly
organized
| Hours:
| 20 - 25 hrs. per wk. Sundays and evenings. Must be flexible.

| Benefits:
| 50% Health Insurance, SIMPLE IRA, Vacation and Sick
pay per policy.

| Pay Range:
| $10.50 - $12.50 per hour commensurate with experience
